Notes |
- SOURCE: Ina Donaldson says in her letter of 3 January 1990, that Maggie, Mrs. Wilson, had a son John, a daughter, Margaret and Jessie died. Married again and was Mrs. McPherson and had a daughter Mary.
BIOGRAPHY: Margaret Jane Bryce had this to say about Margaret Munro: Margaret--my mother's "Auntie Maggie", who lived in Lhanbryde and latterly, when I remember her, kept a general store or shop. As a child, I would sit quietly in front of this stately woman, being "seen and not heard" as children behaved in those days. The dress, the bearing, the furniture--it was all Victorian. The joy was to be given a glass of lemonade (the fizzy kind).
