      Barbara was very active in the communities in which she resided. She was a member of Prescott united Methodist Church (and past president of United Methodist Women). She was also a member of the Scots of Prescott, the Northern Arizona Genealogical Society, and a regular volunteer at Sharlot Hall Museum.

      Barbara was along-time member of the Order of Eastern Star (Ohio) and also an active member (and past national, state, and/or local officer) in several hereditary societies including: Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames XVII Century, New England Women, Women Descendants of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company, Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of Colonial Wars, Colonial Daughters of the Seventeenth Century, Dames of the Court of Honor, Colonial Dames of America, Daughters of Indian Wars, Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims, Clan Munro Association (both Scotland and USA), and United States Daughters of 1812.

      Barbara enjoyed working on genealogy, needlework, travel, reading and music of all kinds. She was very proud of her family - past and present. «/i»
