- Christina's husband, John, was a non-commissioned officer in the Cromarty Rangers. After his death, she lived for several years at Invergordon, where she was popularly known as "Lady Culrain." She died there in humble circumstances in 1838 and was buried in the family burying-ground in Rosskeen Churchyard.
