    • Theodore attended the graded schools in Middlebury, Vermont and afterwards Middlebury College for four years, class of 1898. He was in general business for four years in Boston, as manager for a large New York Corporation. He became assistant superintendant of the Rutland Railroad for the purpose of extending the road from Burlington to Rouse's Point. He then went to Hartford, Connecticut, where he organized the Hartford Securities Corporation on 17 Aug 1904, of which he was president and treasurer. He was a Republican in politics.
