Mr. August Munro
Mr. August Munro died at the home of his daughter Mrs. C. A. Baumberger, Saturday November 16th 1929 at 10, a. m. He was born in Canada Jun 6, 1853. His three sons and four daughters were at his bedside before he died.
Mr. Munro moved his family to Northport about twenty five years ago after the death of his wife and for some years made his home with his sister Mrs. Elizabeth Barnes.
Mr. Munro has made many close friends during his residence in Northport and his friendly greeting will be missed. He leaves to grieve his seven children Mesdames C. A. Baumberger and Albert Steele of this place, George LaLonde of Fordson, Ralph Jex of Toledo O., Joseph of Toledo, Earl of Cincinnati, and J. Vincent of San Leandro, Calif. and two sisters Mrs. Barnes of Muskegon, who is in failing health, and Mrs. Miles of Jackson, besides his grandchildren. The deceased has been in poor health for many months. Funeral services were held Monday morning at nine o'clock in St. Gertrude's Chruch, Father Kehren of Suttons Bay, officiating.

Messrs and Mesdames George LaLonde, Ralph Jex, Joseph Munro and son, and Messrs. Earl and J. Vincent Munro, Mrs. Anna Miles, husband and son, and Mrs. Dell Barnes and son Virgil.
