• Notes

  Sarah died of "neuralgia of the stomach" at the age of 34. This could have been some kind of malnutrition or persistent vomiting, cancer, or something like amoebic dysentery - even diabetes. She was found dead in bed when George and Rosa came home from church one Sunday evening.
