- Robert went to Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia) in 1791.
Error alert: According to dates given in the reference, Robert's oldest child was born in 1792 which means he would have had to have been born in about 1775 or earlier, but he supposedly died in 1893 so that would make him at least 118 years old at his death. I suppose that's possible, but there might be an error in the dates.
