Notes |
- John was a teacher who taught in Castle Rock, Washington and in Portland, Oregon. He built a fortune buying raw lumber acreage and he owned the water system for the town of Castle Rock.
He would drive to Castle Rock after school on Friday nights and attend to the water business then return to teach during the week. After his retirement, he lived in Castle Rock.
The Farlow reference says he died in 1958.
