  • Notes
    • John "Lew" was noted for his collection of "junk" and his ability to convert it for use in the classroom or around the home. He spent his life on education, first as a high school teacher and then "retired" to be an administrator. He earned a B.Eng. at UBC in Mechanical Engineering and Education.

John's first wife, Gladys, finished high school and then entered the convent in Victoria and taught school for five years. Uncertain of becoming a nun, she left and worked in a stock broker's office until she married John. Gladys was the daughter of Henry and ? (O'Neil) Parker.

After the death of his first wife, John married Helen, a long time friend of the family. Helen eventually developed Alzhimer's Disease and had to be institutionalized at Rosewood Manor.
