  Ref: Clan Munro files - Stroud, Anna Margaret The 1861 census shows John and his family still living in Williamsburg Township. This census gives his wife's name as Mira. The Stroud reference says Mariah Beckstead (or Bedstead) was born in Canada. On the 1861 census of the same area, both Henry Munro and his wife and family as well as their parents are gone. John is listed as: John Munrow (Munro) farmer, 49 yrs old Mira Munrow, age 36 Alvey Munrow, age 15 Fanny Munrow, age 13 John Munrow, age 10 Luther Munrow, age 8 Calvin Munrow, age 6 Enus Munrow, age 4 Living on one side of them are the Durant's with an "Athelie Rose" (14 yrs?)
