  • Notes
    • In 1871, Francis "Frank" was living with his parents in Markham Township, Ontario, Canada. The 1878 Atlas for York County, Markham Township lists Francis Munro - Lot 13. Conc. 10. He married the daughter of William M. Button.

He bought a farm in St. Catherine's and may have had a negro slave. His three boys were born in Headford and went to school there. His wife, Elizabeth, took the boys on boat rides out of St. Catharine's as a therapy for whooping cough.

Francis worked for the A&P Tea Company and had a tea route in Toronto in 1890.

He died in 1891 of Typhoid. His wife can be found in a family picture with her father in Locust Hill in July 1907. By 1934, she was living with her son, Herbert and finally died in a nursing home in Dec 1943.
