  Mary was born at 104 Point Street in Providence, Rhode Island. After her father died at an early age, Mary went to live with an uncle. There is speculation that the uncle was J. Albert Monroe [21039], but there is no proof that he was even her uncle. She married the son of John E. and Sarah E. (?) Stone. They were married by Samuel Oster, an Advent Pastor.
