Notes |
- Julia lived at 216 Westwood Park Drive in Havertown, Pennsylvania. She was a descendant of William of Lexington. Her husband, Frank, was a sculptor who served as the chief engraver of the U.S. mint--only the 10th person to serve in that capacity since the U.S. began systematic coin design and production in 1792. He started working at the Philidelphia mint in 1941 and spent the remainder of his working life there. He designed the reverse of the Lincoln penny, the Eisenhower dollar, the reverse of the Kennedy half dollar and the Susan B. Anthony dollar.
