• Notes

  In 1807, David married Abigail Carpenter, and the next year, he bought a farm. The house he built on this land was the third to be constructed in the village of Camillus. In "History of Onondaga County", Clayton said of David, "His manner of address was courteous but impressive, and his knowledge of men and events of the day unsurpassed." The May reference says that David's parents were Nathan Munro [11521] and Alice Hazard (or Haszard) [11522].
