- The family Bible gives death date as 18 Jan 1867 and tombstone gives the death date as 20 Dec 1866.
Olive and John were married at the First Presbyterian Church, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Olive's husband is found on the the tax list of 1796 in Kingston Township, Pennsylvania, and on the 1800 tax list of Slocum Township (then called Newport Township), Pennsylvania.
John built a sawmill in about 1836. He was the first postmaster of the post office called Lutsey. He was also the first teacher in the schoolhouse that was built in 1838.
