- Isaac's first wife was Elizabeth Frenifrock (or Arenuprock). One reference says his third wife, Mary was born in Pennsylvania and gives Isaac's name as Israel. The Madsen reference says Isaac and Mary Neeland were married 11 Nov 1845.
There is a strong suspicion that this is a composite of two or more people. Information from two separate entries in the 1850 census have been used here. One entry says Isaac was born about 1799 and was living in Preble, Pike County, Ohio. A second entry says Israel (not Isaac) was born about 1818 and was a farmer living in Meigs, Muskingum County, Ohio with $2500 in property.
A third reference has combined data from the other two to form this record.
It is questionable whether this Isaac was a child of Daniel Monroe and whether all the marriages and children are from the same man.
