- Daniel married Martha Stroud (or Stoud) who was probably the daughter of William and Rebecca (Stanford) Stroud. He is listed in every Ohio census from 1820 through 1850 as living in Scipio Township, Meigs County, Ohio.
Martha is listed in the 1860 Warren County, Iowa census as being from "Suf. PA." The 1850 census says she is from "Va or Ma".
