Notes |
- Hugh served in the Revolutionary War in Captain Kellam's Company, Colonel Putnam's Regiment of the Massachusetts Line. He applied for a pension on 23 Apr 1818 from Lincoln County, Maine. In 1820 he gave the names and ages of his wife and children, but his own age was different in the two reports. In 1820 he was a fisherman living in Thomaston, Maine. He may be the son of Alexander of Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
The Munro reference says he was 54 years old in 1820, which would place his birth date in 1766.
