- In 1941, Ann graduated from high school in Woodmere, New York and went on to attend Katherine Gibbs School until 1943. She graduated from State University College in Geneseo, New York in 1950. She held certificates as a teacher and librarian. She taught school for three years and then became Assistant Editor of "The Instructor Magazine," a publication for elementary classroom teachers.
In 1962, Ann was living in Conesus, New York. In 1985 she was living at One Seward Street in Dansville, New York.
