- Upon his death, George's estate went to his cousin, Charles, the son of his uncle James Munro of Daan. One reference says that he was unfit to succeed and that the estate went to his uncle, James of Daan upon the death of his father.
Ref. (2) says that George was "facile and died before being served heir to his father", and that the estate went to James upon the death of Gustavus.
