"Hugh his 4th son married Ross by whom he had Hugh and after her decease he married Esther daughter to Mr Robert Ross of Loggie Minister of Alness but left no succession by her."
Esther was the daughter of the Rev. Robert Ross, minister of Alness from 1588 to 1630.
Esther and Hugh had no children.
