"John Munro of Fyres married Helen daughter to Hugh Munro of Teaninich by whom he had Hugh Major David Munro slain in France without succession and John."

David received from his father, the lands of Kildermorie. He entered the Army and attained the rank of Major, when he was killed in battle in France before 1653. His estates in Fyrish and Kildermorie passed to his brother Hugh in 1653.
He and Agnes had no children.
