- One of his grandsons says that Captain Lewis (Lovise) Foye Munroe was born at Charlestown, Massachusetts on 15 Jul 1766. He lived in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
Captain Munroe was a mariner who died at sea when he went down with his ship.
Lewis' wife, Mary was a French Huguenot who married (2) John Barnard after Lewis died. One reference says she was born in 1766.
