    • George served as Postmaster of Inverness. He married the daughter of Thomas Mcculloch, minister of Bellie in Morayshire.

      George served for a number of years as Postmaster of Inverness. He and Jane had several sons and daughters.

      [Alexander Munro] «i»Son of John "Dow" Munro (postmaster, Inverness), writer in Inverness. 1703; also 1718, when he is mentioned in Delvine Manuscript, and his parentage stated; witnessed disposition by Sir Ewen Cameron of Lochiel at Achnacarry to grandson Donald, 1716. For another, or same?, Alexander (brother of George postmaster Inverness)see Mackenzie p415.
