- Mary Lindsay, was the sister of John Lindsay, who married William's sister, Elizabeth.
On Mary's grave stone it says she died 8 Nov 1760 at the age of 85, which places her birth in about 1675. Ref. (1) says 1685 and other sources say 1684, 1685 or 1677.
