      [Andrew Munro]«i» Third son of Hector Munro of Novar (d/ 1733/4) and Agnes Munro; merchant and Bailie of Inverness, mentioned 1725/50; had charge of military chest at Dornoch, escaped March 1746; died c.1781, aged 75, and buried at Inverness, having married Margaret, daughter of George Urquhart of Greenhill, Cromartyshire, with issue - George (Major, 68th Regiment, died 1796) and Margaret (married cousin [Sir]Alexander Munro [of Novar]; another daughter Christian married William Mackintosh, Provost and merchant of Inverness.
