Notes |
- John studied at the University of Aberdeen where he received his M.A. degree on 3 Jul 1679. It is said that he intruded into the Church of Reay in that year, but whether he did or not, he was received into Communion by the Edinburgh Committee before 6 Jun 1704 and admitted as the minister of Reay as his father's successor in 1704.
