Notes |
- David studied at St. Andrews University and was appointed as a colleague and then successor to his father as the minister of Reay. He was admitted to the parish of Reay before 6 Aug 1656.
He received the land of Tubeg from his parents in 1665.
A memorial tablet was built into the wall of the old Church in Reay. It was two feet long and twenty inches wide showing the date, 1691 and the letters "D.M." and "M.M.", his initials and those of his wife. The last sentence on the tablet read, "This ile belongs to Mr David Munro and Margaret Munro."
