  David was Lieutenant Colonel to the Earl of Kelly's regiment of foot. He was killed at the Battle of Worcester "in desperately retarding the pursuit after the king." Ref: "The Munro Tree (1734)" by R. W. Munro - L/43 "Mr George Munro [? Henry] Primroses daughter /illegible/ by whom he had Mr George Lieutenant Collonel David and Mr Alexander Munro and daughters."
