Alexander married Catherine, daughter of George Munro, VI. of Milntown, by whom he had at least two sons and a daughter--William, his heir, VIII. of Dunean; David, I. of Dochfour, whose descendant is James Evan Bruce Baillie, now of Dochfour, one of the principal landowners in, and M.P. for the county of Inverness; and Catherine, who married one of the younger sons of Fraser of Culbokie.
