  Married: The wedding of John and Ida was announced in the Jamestown (New York) Journal on 2 Jan 1876. The marriage was terminated shortly afterward at the insistence of John's parents. Ida had been a housemaid (and apparently a very bad one) in their house, so Isaac and Lusena did not consider her to be a suitable wife for their "Number One Son", John. [1]
