  • Notes  Married:
    • The following is a wedding announcement from an unknown newspaper:

WED AT HIGH NOON - At a simple service in Bethany Lutheran Church, at 12 o'clock, Thursday Sept. 17, Miss Joan Hagen of this place became the bride of Mr. Neil S. Munro of Williamsburg. Rev. A. E. Norson performed the ceremony in the presence of a small group of close relatives. The couple were unattended and entered as Miss Norma Garthe played the wedding march. The bride was lovely in ivory satin and a short veil. She carried an arm bouquet of Easter lilies and ferns. Following the ceremony a luncheon was served to the members of the immediate families at the home of the bride's parents, after which the bridal couple left for Detroit, on a wedding trip. They will make their home in Traverse City. [2]
