    Notes:

    Thomas was educated at Edinburgh University. On 8 Sep 1840 he came with his uncle, Dr. James Munro, by the brig Ruther to Charlottstown, Prince Edward Island, Canada.

    He was a teacher at Carbost, Snizort and a Minister on Prince Edward's Island.

    After 1870, he went to Nebraska.

    [Alexander Munro] «i»Son of George Munro, Strath, Skye and Janet MacQueen; born Kilmuir, Skye, 1774; SSPCK schoolmaster at Ferinlea, Minginish, Bracedale Parish, 1821-32, and at North Shawbost , Lochs Parish, Lewis, 1832-8; emigrated to Prince Edward Island with family 1842; settled in Brown's Creek (Valleyfield), taught school and preached, but moved a few years later to Head of Cardigan (Lorne Valley); died 11 November 1856, having married Euphemia Campbell, with issue - Thomas Boston (1817-88), George (1821- ), John (1831-1917), Donald and six daughters.     In 1842, he came to Brown's Creek (Valleyfield), Prince Edward's Island, Canada. Later he moved to Head of Cardigan (Lorne Valley).
