| 6. | Adoniram Monroe was born on 6 Dec 1828 in Liberty Twp., Delaware Co., Ohio, USA (son of Lemuel Franklin Monroe and Margaret Brown); died on 25 Mar 1905; was buried in Lewiston Cem., Lewiston, Ohio, USA. Notes:
Adoniram enlisted as a private in Company A, 183rd Regiment, Ohio Infantry Volunteers. He was promoted to corporal, wounded in Franklin, Tennessee, and was honorably discharged at the close of the American Civil War. Later he was admitted to the Bar at the age of sixty years.
