| 2. | Nathaniel Munroe was born on 7 May 1784 (son of James Munroe and Sarah Wythe); died on 8 Jun 1857 in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, USA. Notes:
Nathaniel lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was a carpenter, but was known for his musical skill, instrumental and vocal. He taught vocal music and was a long time leader of the choir in Dr. Holme's church. He was one of the early members of the Handel and Hayden Society. He served as a fifer in the war of 1812.
His first wife, Martha (Patty) Lewis was from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. His second wife, Rebecca Kent, was the daughter of Samuel and Rhoda (Hill) Kent and the sister of the Rev. Benjamin Kent of Roxbury, Massachusetts.

| 4. | James Munroe was born on 12 Dec 1735 in Lexington, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, USA (son of William Munroe and Rebecca Locke); died on 14 Sep 1804. Notes:
James was chosen deacon of the First Church in Cambridge on 30 Jun 1783, and continued in that office until his death. A blacksmith by trade, he was appointed armorer by the Provincial Congress in 1775 and acted in that capacity for a long time.
He built and lived in a house that stood on Brattle Street near Mason Street. His blacksmith's shop was on the corner of Mason Street and Phillips Place.
He was very sociable and noted for his musical talents, being a fine singer. He often led the church choir.
His first wife, Lucy, was from Cambridge, Massachusetts. His second wife, Sarah, was the widow of Torrey Hancock.
