    Notes:

    Her first husband, Joseph, was lost at sea.

    Her second husband was Rev. Palmer Brown. He may have been born in Kingston, Rhode Island instead of Woonsocket. He was ordained a Methodist Minister, but later came under the influence of Bishop Griswold and became an Episcopal Minister in charge of several parishes before his death. Rev. Brown's death was caused by exposure from visiting the sick during a cold stormy night.

    One reference has Palmer being married to a Mary Armstrong and lists the same children as we have listed for Palmer and Phebe.

    Phebe and Palmer moved to Woonsocket, Rhode Island in 1834. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Woonsocket 1844-1845.

    She died at the age of 79. The cause of death was "Congestion of Brain".
