Error alert: Angus was age 69 on the 1851 Scotland census but is also listed as age 60 on the 1861 census. He was 68 on the 1871 census. The first figure, age 69, is probably a mistake.

Angus was a fisherman. In 1851 he and his family lived in the village of Badnamurichin. In 1861 the family was living in the district of Stoer, in the city or county of Sutherland, village of Issin. In 1871 he was a "tennant". In 1871 the family was living in the village of Strathan.
