Error alert: Harry's birth record says he was born 31 Jan 1823, but his marriage record of 1861 says he was age 35 placing his birth year at about 1826. In the 1841 census he is listed as age 15 placing his birth year in about 1826.

Harry married Christina McBain in 1861 in Tain, , Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. Christina (daughter of Alexander McBain and Margaret Ross) was born about 1838; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

David and Ann's marriage is recorded in the Kiltearn Parish records. At the time of their marriage, they both were servants of Mr. Tait at Culcairn. Mr. Tait is unidentified, but there was a William Tait from East Lothian who was a proprietor of a bleachfield at Culcairn in 1791.
