Notes:

Thomas was married twice. His first wife, Elizabeth, was from Littleton, Massachusetts. After her death, he married Elizabeth's sister, Matilda (Jewett) Conant. Both wives were daughters of Joseph and Sarah (Fletcher) Jewett.

Thomas lived in Lexington, Milton, and Dorchester, Massachusetts, and for many years was a resident of Nashua, New Hampshire. He was a selectman of Nashua, and was frequently chosen to other public offices. He was also a Notary Public and Justice of the Peace.

He had a twin sister, Elizabeth.

Thomas married Elizabeth Jewett on 30 Mar 1804. Elizabeth was born on 8 Sep 1785; died on 23 Nov 1848. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

Philemon was on the Lexington Common on 19 Apr 1775 and was one of the band who refused to disperse at the command of Major Pitcairn. He served in the company commanded by Captain Benjamin Blaney of Malden, 3 days, and marched to Point Shirley 13 Jun 1776 by order of General Lincoln. He stood service in Captain John Walton's company between 4 and 11 Sep 1776, acting in the capacity of soldier. As a lieutenant, he was in Captain Benjamin Blaney's company, Colonel Eleazer Brooks regiment of guard from 12 Jan to 3 Apr 1778, 83 days at Cambridge.

He lived on his father's homestead and was a farmer. His wife, Elizabeth was from Malden, Massachusetts.
