Mary was born at 104 Point Street in Providence, Rhode Island.
After her father died at an early age, Mary went to live with an uncle. There is speculation that the uncle was J. Albert Monroe [21039], but there is no proof that he was even her uncle.
She married the son of John E. and Sarah E. (?) Stone. They were married by Samuel Oster, an Advent Pastor.
She died of pleurisy and meningitis.

John served with the Rhode Island Artillary 1862-1864. He married the daughter of George V. and Mary (?) Horton. They were married by Rev. Lemuel Osler, a Second Advent Pastor. One reference gives the name of his wife as Hillary E.
He worked as a carpenter in Providence, Rhode Island. He lived at 104 Point Street, in Providence.
One reference gives his birthdate as 1838.
He died of heart disease.
