2. | Lionel Bertram Munro was born on 26 Oct 1881 in Headford, , Québec, Canada (son of Francis Wilmot Munro and Elizabeth Phoebe Ruth Button); died on 19 Dec 1949 in Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. Notes:
Lionel was born in Headford, Quebec, Canada and went to school there. He moved to St. Catharine's with the family. In about 1900, he was a time-keeper on the Erie Canal and living in Buffalo, New York. In 1902, he began to work in the Dispatch Office at the T. Eaton Company in Toronto, Canada. He knew Timothy Eaton who gave him a walking stick that is still in the family.
Around 1910, he left Eaton's to try his hand on his mother's farm near Locust Hill, but he soon went back to Eaton's. He organized and ran the Santa Claus Parade from its beginning in 1908 until he retired in 1946.

4. | Francis Wilmot Munro was born in 1850 (son of William Purdy Munro and Phoebe Ann Wilmot); died on 3 Nov 1891 in Saint Catharines, , Ontario, Canada. Notes:
In 1871, Francis "Frank" was living with his parents in Markham Township, Ontario, Canada. The 1878 Atlas for York County, Markham Township lists Francis Munro - Lot 13. Conc. 10. He married the daughter of William M. Button.
He bought a farm in St. Catherine's and may have had a negro slave. His three boys were born in Headford and went to school there. His wife, Elizabeth, took the boys on boat rides out of St. Catharine's as a therapy for whooping cough.
Francis worked for the A&P Tea Company and had a tea route in Toronto in 1890.
He died in 1891 of Typhoid. His wife can be found in a family picture with her father in Locust Hill in July 1907. By 1934, she was living with her son, Herbert and finally died in a nursing home in Dec 1943.

8. | William Purdy Munro was born on 7 Nov 1826 in Thornhill, York Co., Ontario, Canada (son of Timothy Munro and Huldah Purdy); died on 12 Mar 1899 in Toronto, York Co., Ontario, Canada. Notes:
William grew up in York County, Ontario, Canada, attending the schools of that region. On reaching manhood, he decided upon farming as the most congenial business for him and followed that occupation through his active life. In 1871, he was living with his family in Markham Township, Ontario and the 1878 Atlas for York County, Markham Township lists him as owning Lot 19, Conc. 3.
He married, Phoebe Anne, the daughter of Peter and Mercy (Marr) Wilmot. She was one of 10 children.
In politics he was a reformer, although he took no active part. In religion he was a Methodist. He was an auditor of the church books in Mar 1885 in Headford. In 1887 he was one of the trustees and is mentioned several times in the secretary's minutes until 1892. He paid pew rent for other families and bought dishes, hymn books etc. for the church.
In 1892, he moved to 783 Gerrard Street East in Toronto. About this time, his farm was mortgaged and lost. His son, Newberry, may have been in Toronto at this time, possibly in business. He died in Toronto in 1899.
