    Daniel married Martha Stroud (or Stoud) who was probably the daughter of William and Rebecca (Stanford) Stroud. He is listed in every Ohio census from 1820 through 1850 as living in Scipio Township, Meigs County, Ohio.

    Martha is listed in the 1860 Warren County, Iowa census as being from "Suf. PA." The 1850 census says she is from "Va or Ma".

  1. 4.  Moses Monrow was born in 1745 in Warwick, Orange Co., New York, USA (son of Barnabas Monroe and Phebe); died in 1817 in Madison, Lake Co., Ohio, USA.

    Notes:

    Moses left a will dated 2 Jan 1816 in which he mentioned his wife and a number of other Monrows whose relationship was not noted. They were probably children and grandchildren. One person was named "Sollomon Lida Shoomaker" which could be interpreted as a son Solomon and a daughter Lida who married a Shoemaker or, since all others are given "Monrow" after their names, perhaps this is her whole name.

    In addition to Sollomon Lida Shoomaker and Moses' wife, Bridget, the others listed in the will are: Barnabas, Daniel, Charles, Phebe Stroud, Jesse, Aaron, Cizy, and John. Since his son, Daniel married Martha Stroud and had a son, Jesse, Phebe Stroud Monrow and Jesse Monrow are assumed to be Daniel's children. The rest are listed as children of Moses, though that is by no means certain.
