    Notes:

    In 1850, Noah was a farmer living in Green Creek, Sandusky County, Ohio. Noah is placed in this family because he was born in Connecticut and because he named a son Zachariah, a rare name in Monroe families. This connection is not proved.

    In 1860, he is found on the census of Polk Township, Marshall County, Indiana as a farmer.

    in 1800, Zachariah was living in Danbury, Connecticut with three male children under 10.

    On 12 Sep 1837, Zachariah "of Danbury" signed a quitclaim in Reading, Fairfield County, Connecticut for his mother's property. In 1850, Zachariah was living in Watertown, Connecticut with Edward (age 54) and Mary (age 52) Taylor. At that time, his wife, Rachel, was living in Watertown, Litchfield County, Connecticut at the home of Mary, her stepdaughter or possibly daughter by her previous marriage.

    David married Rachel Squier on 2 Mar 1768 in Sharon, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, USA. Rachel was born about 1743; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Notes:

    After David's death, Rachel moved to Shelburn, Chittenden County, Vermont with her son, Lyman. On 28 Nov 1818, her son, Lyman and his son, Eli of Shelburn, deeded to Rachel 7 acres in that town for $130. On 12 Sep 1837, her chldren quitclaimed all interest in her property by a deed signed at Reading, Fairfield County, Connecticut by Zachariah of Danbury, Amos and David of Reading, and Sarah Bennett, also of Reading. The property was described as "of our mother Rachael Munrow lately deceased."

    After David's death, his widow and son, Lyman, moved to Shelburne, Vermont.
