Harvey was reportedly living in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area in the 1865. Although not positively identified as Orren's brother, a Harvey Monroe was found working as a farmer with $800 in property living in Walker Township, Kent County, Michigan in 1850 and 1860. (Grand Rapids is in Kent County.) No other Harvey Munro (Monroe) was found in the area. This Harvey was born in Massachusetts about 1795. Nothing was found to contradict the idea that this Harvey was Orren's brother except that some say that Harvey was born in Scotland.
